From Our Executive Director. . .

The Ross County Coalition Against Domestic Violence is a private non-profit organization that provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and to the community in many ways and for a variety of situations.
Since 1981, the RCCADV has strived to ensure that all victims of domestic violence are treated fairly and with dignity through the legal process and the aftermath of the abuse they suffered at the hand of their perpetrator.
Our agency provides safe housing at the Phoenix House shelter, supportive services, counseling for victims, adult support groups, children's arts and education, teen programs, sexual assault programs, outreach programs, legal advocacy, and case management. In addition, we provide outreach services to schools, medical facilities, prisons, courts and any other agency requesting services or educational awareness.
We believe education is the key to prevention, and community awareness is an important factor that will aid in breaking the cycle of abuse. Please share this information with others and get involved with your local domestic violence or sexual assault agency. Ask to become a volunteer, because without volunteers we would not be able to provide all the needed services to our victims.

Thank you,
Christine Throckmorton
